


The inspirational and intriguing folktales and legends Scheherazade tells in the Arabian Nights (1,001 Nights), were brought to life by the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corp in award-winning fashion during the summer of 2014. We were given the opportunity to explore design refinements to an existing Scheherazade show graphic for the show titled, “Scheherazade: Words 2 Live By.”
In the next phase of the Scheherazade campaign, we created several new graphic treatments for a series of new t-shirts for the event. The peacock feather, the iconic representation of Scheherazade, was chosen as the theme graphic for each of these designs. Each design features a unique graphic treatment of the feather as it appears to come to life, moving across the front of one t-shirt and then wrapping itself around the front and back of another.
