Obon is an annual two-day festival and bazaar in San Jose’s Japantown that features taiko performers, games, food booths, workshops, cultural exhibits and demos. For 2014, we had the privilege of designing the look and feel for the entire event. Our design team created the illustration graphic that was incorporated into the design of posters, city-wide print ads, pedicab signs, buttons, flyers, t-shirts, aprons and their website.
