The Santa Clara University LEAD Scholars Program was established in 2003 as a way to enhance the university’s support of first-generation college students throughout their college career and after they have graduated. The program provides academic and vocational development opportunities, supportive advising, peer mentoring, and community building through a variety of courses, programs, and support networks.
For this project, we were asked to create a tri-fold brochure to send to all SCU Alumni as well as any potential donors. The brochure would explain to its recipients what the LEAD Scholars Program is, and why it’s important to its members. The brochure would also include important calls to action since donations are one of LEAD’s largest sources of funding.
We kept the design of this brochure clean and elegant, to give a more sophisticated tone to its recipients. We used imagery of the LEAD Scholars students having fun and working hard, so the alumni could visualize who their donations would be helping. This brochure was sent out as a mailer in 2018 and will be sent out in future years to come.
